Karen K. Rude-Sewilo was born August 16, 1959, age 65, passed away on November 9, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health System - Eau Claire. She is the daughter of Earl and Vivian Rude.
Karen was loved by most who knew her. She worked at various establishments in the community including Murphy's Tavern and Banbury Place. She knew everyone. She liked fishing and they tell us that she was pretty good with horseshoes.
Karen is survived by her son Chad Haddeman; 3 grandchildren: Kalisha, Earl and Chevy; Mother Vivian Thompson; sister Kathie (Bill) Johnson; brother Richard Rude; brothers-in-law Steve and Ron Sewilo; sister-in-law Sue (Simon) Fink; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is her husband Bill, father Earl and brother Randy. She will be missed.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona.
