Tamara Jean Erickson, age 53, of Eau Claire, passed away December 25, 2012, peacefully at home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with breast cancer.



Tami was born on February 27, 1959 in Eau Claire to Charlie Clark and Marilyn Clark. She grew up in Brackett, WI and graduated from Memorial High School with the class of 1977. She married Daniel Erickson Sr. in 1985; they later divorced.



Tami is survived by Richard Postl, they were married June 7, 2002. She is also survived by her children, Rachel (Kyle) Neidermire, Daniel (Melanie) Erickson Jr., and Adam (Lexi) Erickson. Step children, Cory (Christina) Postl, Nicole Postl and Steven Postl. Grandchildren, Ashlyn and Marissa Neidermire, Harper Lee Erickson, Bryce, Kiara and Bentley Erickson, and Jacob and Lilly Postl. Parents, Marilyn Clark and Ken Stelzig, Charlie and Rita Clark. Sister, Tracy (Cal) Craker; brothers, Ken (Kathy) Clark and Gary (Mary) Clark. Nieces and nephews, Kristi (Mike) Schmidt, Mariah Werner, Elijah and Hailee, Victor Craker, MJ Red-Cloud, Andrew (Amy) Clark, Lucas and Jack, Sarah and Tony Clark, Noah, Nahom, Hannah and Molly Clark; a large and loving extended family; and her lifetime friend, Patti (Mike) Ringhand.



Tami enjoyed watching the Packers, gardening, time with her family, and volunteering in our community, most recently at Sojourner House. "Life is good" was her motto, mantra and way of life. There is so much truth in that simple statement. There are miracles all around us, we just have to open our eyes to see the beauty that God has put before us. Through Tami's faith in God she truly believed life is good.



The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the caring staff at the Sacred Heart Cancer Center, the St. Joseph's Hospice team, Dr. Naqvi, and special family friend Kadie Schmidt.



Tami was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents.
