Brent "Mac" G. McIntyre, 52, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at his home surrounded by loved ones.

He was born April 29, 1959, in Eau Claire, the son of Gilbert and Doris (Heller) McIntyre. Brent graduated from Eau Claire Memorial High School, class of 1977. He worked at Consumers Co-Op, Menards, Eau Claire Plumbing, and First Supply Group.

Brent loved riding motorcycles from the time he was 16 years old. He also loved ice fishing, bee keeping, reading, and working back stage security at Rock Fest.

Brent is survived by his wife, Anne; two step-children, Matthew (Ashley) Salter of Altoona, WI, Pamela Salter of Eau Claire; three grandchildren, Aysia, Isayah and Ayden; two sisters, Sandra (Gordon) Edington of Rhinelander, WI, and Jill (Jonathon) Wittman of Howards Grove, WI; nieces and nephews, Scott (Ellie) Edington, Christa (Edington) Stolzman, and Jordan and Morgan Wittman; and numerous aunts; uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
