As I was looking through my senior yearbook, I remembered to save a piece Gordy's family had written for the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram after Gordy's passing. It is important to me to share this here. I wasn't at all close to Gordy, only that he and I shared the same neighborhood, the same friends, the same Sunday school rooms, and the same birthday... 25 September 1958.
